SEASON FINALE SUMMER MUSIC SERIES FEATURING LORI DIAMOND AND FRED ABATELLI * SEPT. 25TH.
When listening to the performance of Lori and Fred one cannot help but notice
the undeniable chemistry between these two as they feed off one another's emotions

SUNDAY MORNING LIVE WELCOMES JUDY C WITH JOE KESSLER ON VIOLIN, SEPT. 18th. DURING A BREAKFAST BUFFET BY THE SEAA regular on the New England folk circuit, Judy C's guitar and haunting vocals have stirred emotions at many venues in the Boston area. She draws on a wealth of inspirations from Led Zeppelin to Crosby, Stills and Nash, blending them into her own ethereal sound which suggests Celtic balladry and eastern modality.
She recently released her debut CD, "444", a moving collection of songs about empowerment and spirituality. The CD features a wonderful group of musicians including Dave Mattacks on drums, Richard Gates on bass, Chris Rival on electric guitar, and Ian Kennedy on violin. It's a blend of both full band songs and acoustic songs, with Judy's own acoustic guitar work. The songs on the CD are from different times in the singer/songwriter's life. Expressing both the emotions from those times and different musical influences.
Joe Kessler's career began with his 1st public performance at age 9 playing classical violin. By the age of 17 he expanded his repertoire to include klezmer, folk, bluegrass, balkan, jazz, rock and pop. Joe has performed in over 10 countries on 3 continents. When not traveling to gigs, studio sessions or teaching lessons, Joe resides in Gloucester, Massachusetts with his beautiful wife and two rescued ex-racing greyhounds

Sunday Morning Live. Daniel Chauvin, www.danchauvin.com, blends the traditional folk sounds of his New England roots with contemporary rock and country influences to create an original, ear-catching, almost bluegrass finger-style acoustic work that is creatively his own. The release of his new CD "SMALL TOWN LIFE" features an all-star cast of local musicians.
Continuous performances for his fourth straight year after the release of his debut CD "UNRESOLVED" on the Cherry Grove label in 2005, Daniel continues to do what he does best...writing music, live performances, and recording.
His second CD release "BETTER PLACES" has received steady airplay and positive reviews..
A professional hunter, Dan has trained Bird dogs, is a Regional Animal Control Officer. and loves to talk Preditors, especially Eastern Coyotes.

Seaward Inn Welcomes the Nautilus Brass Quintet August 28th
SEAWARD INN welcomes the Nautilus Brass Quintet, August 28th., for our Sunday Morning Live Breakfast by the Sea. Nautilus Brass Quintet, based in Boston, Massachusetts, is an emerging chamber initiative with a distinct mission to promote chamber music through performance and education. After being named finalists at the 2010 International Jan Koetsier Chamber Competition in Munich, Germany, Nautilus gained momentum. Nautilus started 2011 being named the Resident Brass Quintet of the San Jose State University Summer in the City Music Program and were recently named winners of the University of Connecticut Brass Day Chamber Music Competition. They have also been recognized as semi-finalists in the international Plowman Chamber Music Competition and as finalists in the national J.C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition. This academic year, we are happy to announce that NBQ will be in residence at The University of Connecticut completing an artist certificate under the direction of Dr. Louis Hanzlik (Orpheus Chamber Orchestra/Atlantic Brass Quintet).

Seaward Inn Presents Andrew McGarrah & Caroline Mead
Andrew McGarrah and Caroline Mead in harmony August 21st at the Seaward Inn's breakfast by the sea.
After singing together for the first time in a school coffee house,
Andrew and Caroline have continued to record and perform together over
the past nearly two years. Focused mainly on vocal harmonies, the duo
have been influenced by bands such as The Weepies, Joshua Radin, Jason
Mraz, Colbie Callait and others. Just last year, Andrew and Caroline
won their high school’s songwriting competition with “We Grow Up Here.”
They have performed at many areas around the Northshore this summer
including The Gulu Gulu Café, The Newburyport Farmer's Market, and The
All Asia Café. They have also performed at a variety of benefit
concerts in areas ranging from North Reading to Merrimack, New
Hampshire. Currently, Andrew is entering his sophomore year at Trinity
College in Hartford CT, and Caroline will be attending Wesleyan
University in the fall. They plan to continue singing together in the
years ahead and hope you will come out to listen!

Seaward Inn welcomes Corin Ashley Aug 14th. during our Sunday morning live's Breakfast by the Sea. Corin released his first solo album- an acoustic mix of George Harrison and Neil Finn- influenced songs. Among MANY other accomplishments and well known connections, he was the former bassist for the Pills (www.pillsrock.com). As well, Corin writes a regular review column for the Big Takeover and has been feature on NPR as a "Pop music expert". He is also an avid ukulele enthusiast. Corin lives in Boston with his wife son.
